The rebellious valkyrie Brünnhilde is probably to blame for the stereotypical view the general population has of opera divas - women in Viking helmets, screaming at the top of their lungs - but when she’s presented in this way, who’s complaining? Flagstad is looking absolutely radiant in these pictures!
